The City Council is expected to pass the proposed ordinance.  Arlington’s City Counsel is considering replicating their model after El Paso’s ordinance, which bans all cell phone use without a hands-free device.  It is proposed that the roads and highways will be safer for all drivers if the ordinance is passed.
